Hi, I'm Elizabeth O’Farrelly!
I’m an animator and artist based in the UK who loves to create stop motions and miniatures.
My artistic journey began as a child when I would create miniature dolls, banquets and animals to go inside my doll’s house. I would create stories for the figures but I always wished for a better way to create the narrative. That’s when I turned to stop motion. I loved watching my creations come to life in the final animation, it always felt so magical.
That sense of awe has never left me and I went on to complete an animation course at Camberwell College of Arts, where my passion and skills grew further. I loved the sense of community there and so began to share my animations on my Instagram account @elizabeth.ofarrelly

You’ll learn everything from designing characters and building sets to filming and editing, allowing you to bring your stop-motion projects to life.
Master essential stop-motion techniques

Course Content
The course has 8 modules with 9+ hours of learning and hands-on practice. It also includes full-length animation tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you need. The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults and beginners and intermediates (children and teens will require adult supervision for the duration of the course as tools are used throughout.) It’s best to take the course in order, as it will walk you through every stage of the stop motion making process, step by step.

MODULE 1-2
Introduction to Stop Motion
In these modules, you’ll get a comprehensive introduction to stop motion animation, including the how to use storyboarding and building your very own stop motion set
MODULE 3-4
Puppet making and set making
I’ll walk you through the entire process of making your own, posable stop motion puppets using armatures, complete with clothes and interchangeable facial expressions. In Module 4 I will teach you how to make your stop motion set, setting up the space and table, and designing props, furniture, and lights. This will lay the foundation for your animation setup. These modules contain lots of exclusive printable sheets that you can use to create wallpaper, flooring, posters, prints and food items for your set!
MODULE 5
The Animation Process
This module contains everything you need to know about the animation process itself, including rigging options and how to bring your characters to life. Learn key filming techniques, practice movements, and discover how to record realistic animations using both, a phone or a camera. This module will help you perfect your stop motion animation with full, narrated animation walkthroughs and tutorials on lighting and set up.
MODULE 6
Sound & Editing
In this module, I’ll teach you how to add sound to your animation, from voiceovers to Foley sound, using both, free apps and Premiere Pro. Learn the ins and outs of editing, including how to remove rigging using Premiere Pro, refine your animation, and turn your footage into a polished product.
MODULE 7
Final Product Reveal, Bonus & Wrap Up
The final module wraps up the course and shows you how to create title sequences and watermarks for your stop motion animations. I’ll outro the course with advice on how to showcase your animation, what to do next, and ways to continue developing your skills as a stop motion animator.
MODULE 8
Bonus Module
As an exclusive bonus, this module contains everything you need to know to create your very own puppets for pets so you can add four-legged friends to your animations. It also includes a full guide to cross stitching so you can take your stop motions to the next level!
